Internal Auditor
Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Internal Auditor. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing our risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.

Responsibilities
  • Audit Execution: Plan, perform, and report on operational, financial, and compliance audits in accordance with the annual audit plan and professional standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess significant business and financial risks to the hospital and recommend effective control measures.
  • Internal Controls: Continuously review and appraise the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems to safeguard assets, ensure accurate accounting records, and promote efficiency.
  • Compliance: Monitor compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations, such as procurement and financial reporting.
  • Investigations: Conduct special audit assignments, including ad-hoc investigations and spot checks as required by management.
  • Follow-up: Conduct follow-up audits to ensure approved recommendations are implemented properly and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Auditing, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in auditing, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent data analysis, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant accounting or auditing software.
