Description

The Radiographer will perform radiographic imaging essential for diagnosing, treating, and managing patient conditions while ensuring radiation safety and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute radiographic investigations in line with hospital protocols.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide necessary guidance.
  • Perform high-quality radiographic imaging and submit accurate reports.
  • Ensure radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
  • Identify patients requiring specialized imaging and recommend referrals.
  • Maintain and ensure optimal functionality of radiographic equipment.
  • Requisition, manage, and account for radiographic materials and sundries.
  • Prepare and submit operational and performance reports to relevant authorities.
Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiography from a recognized institution.
  • Licensing: Must be registered and licensed with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
